Location: Scattered across Fa’ar, with a couple outcasts in Alysi
Behavior: They stagger around, jittering and quivering, go wild at the smell or sight of food (including people), but they may be satiated. They are completely and utterly mad, and speak vaguely of voices from the darkness, along with things from their past lives.
Danger Level: Low/Medium
Strengths: The way that some Shifted are formed gives them certain advantages over adversaries (i.e. three arms instead of one), along with the racial bonuses of whatever species they once belonged to.
Weaknesses: They are highly-unintelligent, and spend most of their existence in complete and utter agony and confusion. Additionally, shifting can also hurt their combat prowess. They will shy away from oldstone, the material appearing to cause them great pain when they are close to it.

Description
The Shifted might have been normal, functioning people once. That is, before they made the mistake of wandering into Niwaedu. Now, as a result of the shifting effects of the plane, they are mere gibbering husks, abominations with limbs, ears, eyes, teeth, and even organs placed haphazardly over their body. Shifted are, to put it simply, completely scrambled versions of any of the playable races. Shifted are at the near bottom of Fa’ar’s food chain, and are often preyed upon by the more fearsome Grymlochs, and even, in some cases, the humble Porloch.

Shifted are not inherently hostile, but the effects of Fa’ar’s distorted reality has driven all of them insane, causing those of them with working mouths and ears to only ramble about voices from the darkness and vague, untraceable fragments from their past lives. On top of that, their incredibly distorted bodies has driven most of them to starvation (due to the simple fact that it is very hard to eat when only one of your four mouths connect to your stomach, and it's on your backside), which often causes them to go wild at the smell of any food (including people).
