Explanations of Creature Types:

Fauna: Beasts untouched by magic, these creatures roam Gaia, and make up the animal part of most ecosystems.

Aquatic Creatures: Creatures that are native to the oceans, seas, and rivers.

Humanoid Monsters: These are monstrous beings that are humanoid in nature, similar to those who roam around on two legs across the Planes.

Ritual Beasts: Creations made with malformed and unnatural magical reactions to be different than their normal counterparts. They are often a horrifying mix of many different creatures, unnaturally stitched together.

Undead: Creatures that are no longer fully living, but are still tied to Gaia in one way or another. Most are animated by the magics of the true dragon Covrudurth.

Native Demons: Demonic entities only found on the soils of Anoma, their origins are almost as strange as they are.

Native Celestials: Celestial beings that are found only on the soils of Anoma, these creatures tend to be more friendly than the others on this list, and often help those that find them.

Hordelings: Spawning from the Primordial Dream, these creatures possess strange cosmic powers. They are also known to be able to blink in and out of the collective consciousness.

Alemnetrys: These creatures have been sculpted by the clawed hands of the True Dragons. They tend to be the servants of their maker, possessing powerful Truths that relate to their master's domain.

Phoenixes: Created by the True Dragons, these winged beasts all share the common birdlike body shape. They tend to serve their creators, spreading their master's influence across the lands of Gaia.

Dragons: Draconic beasts that roam the lands, albeit ones that are not nearly as powerful as their True Dragon superiors. They often have unique properties to allow them to accomplish what ordinarily would be impossible due to their Draconic ancestry.

Godly Champions: Creatures that have been made directly by the hands of a Mortal God, and serve as said Mortal God's servant.

Elementals: Creations made by the Elemental Lords. Primarily stationed in The Elements, these many beasts can very rarely be found outside of their natural habitat should their Elemental Lord will it.

Wonderland: Creatures that originate from the Faerie Wonderland, these are creatures that are most associated with the Seasonal Courts. They, however, can cross to any plane with relative ease.

Daemons: The inhabitants of the Daemonic Steppes. Many exist, some know to Gainas but most not. These creations are known to be unleashed on planes marked for destruction.

Celestials: The Angeulic creations which liter the Conclave of the Celestial halls. Possessing immense powers, they are unable to cause any damage or destroy life (save in the defense of life, be it their own or others) and are equipped with powerful creation truths.

Niwaedu: Creatures that normally dwell within the plane of Niwaedu, twisted, alien, and mostly mindless. They are almost never seen off their plane of origin, and for them to be on the Prime Materia is not good a sign, to put it lightly.

Mevvet: Either the custodians, prisoners, or escaped prisoners of Mevvet, these creatures are rarely seen outside of Mevvet. Those slim few that may be spotted on other planes are either escapees, or those sent to detain said escapees.

Misc: Creatures that do not fit in ANY of the above categories.
